Czarina Catherine Gatbonton and the Miss World 2010 Updates

Reigning Bb. Pilipinas Miss World 2010, Czarina Catherine Gatbonton, a 19 years old, Hotel and Restaurant Management Sophomore student will soon face her battle for the Miss World 2010 title on the upcoming 60th Miss World Pageant to be held on October 30, 2010 at Beauty Crown Cultural Center in Sanya, People's Republic of China after Vietnam backed out of the hosting contract.

There are 120 nations expected to compete in this years pageant. The four week event is fully sponsored by RAAS group and Chinese authorities. All the Miss World 2010 contestants will have their month-long stay in an exclusive resort at Crowne Plaza Sanya, the official Hotel of the prestigious event. Portions of the event will be hosted by the cities of Shanghai, Ordos and Hohhot.

Jennifer Aniston: Single and Loveless

While in the peak of success with her latest movie, The Switch, top billed with actor Jason Bateman, the 41-year-old, former FRIENDS star has been voted as the "most eligible single woman in the world" in a new survey revealed yesterday. She won a total of 29 percent of votes in a 60 minutes Vanity Fair Poll wherein 27 percent of votes are from men and 32 percent from women.

Among the top five are Actress Halle Berry who is close with 21 percent, Tiger Woods' ex Elin Nordegren got 15 percent, Golden Girls star Betty White nabbed 11 percent, and pop star Lady Gaga got 5 percent. In addition the newest US Supreme Court's justice, Elena Kagan made it on the sixth place.

Blackberry Services suspension in UAE was lifted

October 8, 2010 - Today two leading networks Etisalat and Du officially announced that as per TRA notifications of uninterrupted Blackberry services in UAE, they are pleased to confirm that all Blackberry services will continue to operate as normal.

Two days ago Emirates Today reported that TRA has announced that they have reached a solution to satisfy both of local service providers and RIM (Research in Motion), a Canadian company who is the creator of Blackberry.

The solution is to build a server in Dubai which will be supervised by RIM to guarantee the quality of service provided by the new server and at the same time reserves the confidentiality of conversation except the one which can affect the national security of the UAE.

Tom Cruise breathtaking stunt at Dubai for the movie Mission Impossible

According to Gulfnews, Hollywood star Tom Cruise who is currently filming the fourth installment of the Mission Impossible entitled Ghost Protocol franchise in Dubai was spotted performing a breathtaking stunt where he was photographed dangling at the World's tallest building, Burj Khalifa. We all know that it has always been Cruise's style to perform his own stunts.

The filming crew used helicopter to get close to the action where he strode over the front of the glass-and-steel spire on Monday, he reaches about two-thirds of the way up of the 181 floors of the building.

The new film, which is also being filmed in Moscow and Vancouver, is scheduled for release in December 2011.

Dubai joined the exclusive club for iconic new year celebration

As the clock ticked at exactly 12:00 midnight, Dubai joined an exclusive club of world cities whose landmarks are iconic in bringing in the New Year. Sydney Harbour Bridge in Autralia, The London Eye, Times Square in New York and now The Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

the 828-metre spire brashly and brightly announced its advent as the place to be in the Middle East for bringing in the New Year and banishing the old. Huge crowd estimated to 500,000 spectators celebrated as the world's tallest standing structure turned into a virtual column of sparkling and dazzling fireworks display.

Although many of them had battled long traffic queues to reach to the nearest point possible, while others who were unlucky enough pulled their cars over wherever they were stuck and created a picnic-like atmosphere while making sure to catch the view of the fireworks, even from far away.

The celebration was a huge success, they say that it will take a long time for Dubai spire and spirits to be topped.
