In the course of unresolved issue regarding the close implementation of Blackberry Services suspension in the country, Iphone 4 of Apple continues its sales outbreak after it was launched on September 2010. Recently the two leading networks, Etisalat and Du, launched the most affordable packages for as low as AED 249 per month inclusive of unlimited data plan, voice calls and SMS both for 16 and 32GB model tailored for iphone customers.
According to Ahmed bin Ali, the group senior vice president of corporate communication," These packages have been developed with the BlackBerry customers in mind. We have looked at which services they use most often, and have replaced them with comparable services from our wide portfolio."
They believe that the new Iphone 4 sold 1 million units on the first weekend alone.
